The Penn Square Mall located in Oklahoma City is a two-storey shopping mall. It covers an area of 1,100,000-square-feet. It was initially built in 1960 as an outdoor shopping destination. In the year 1988, it was renovated and a second level was built along with a food court at a total expenditure of $100 million.

In the year 1995, a multi storey parking was built and the mall was further expanded. Another renovation took place in the year 2000. In the years 2007 and 2008, six entrances were built to the mall. A number of retail stores, hotels and strip malls came up around the mall. Belle Isle Station was built in 1999 around the perimeter of the mall.

This covered an area of 45acres and was built on the Belle Isle Lake. Val Gene's Silver Palm Room was a restaurant that was located in the mall. Those who travel Oklahoma City, a visit to the mall will be a memorable experience.

The Penn Square Mall is located on the Northwest Expressway at the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue. It is easily approachable from I-44. The mall is popular because it provides the best shopping experience in Oklahoma City. Its plus points are that it is elegant and spacious at the same time.
