Lloyd Noble Center

The Lloyd Noble Center was opened in the year 1975 on the campus of the University of Oklahoma. Since then it has been the home of the Sooners basketball team. Located in south downtown of Oklahoma City, this center has welcomed millions of basketball fans.

After the renovation took place in 2001, the center was upgraded by the addition of 70,000 square foot basketball practice courts both for men and women. Along with that, film rooms, new office rooms, lockers, training rooms, gym and sauna were also introduced. The center provides world-class facilities for both the visitors and the players. Hence, Oklahoma City travel and tourism is promoting this center as one of the major tourists' destinations.

The Llyod Noble Center can hold up to 11,528 spectators at a time. However, this center is presently used for multipurpose events. The center can hold between 2848 and 4516 during concerts and drama shows. For center stage performances, it can accommodate up to 11205 guests.

The entire arena stands tall at 51 feet and also hosts trade shows at times. Along with the 12 concession stands at the concourse you will also notice the latest score board adorning the center. The center is well facilitated with ATMs, parking space, restrooms, elevators, telephones, wheelchair accessibility, separate smoking zones and video recording equipment.

You can get tickets for the sporting events from the OU Athletic Ticket Office situated next to the Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
