
Bricktown
Bricktown was originally an important warehouse district. Today it is an expanding entertainment district. It is located in downtown Oklahoma City and houses AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. AT&T Bricktown Ballpark was inaugurated in 1998. It was known as Bell Bricktown Ballpark when it opened. In January 2006, it came to be known as AT&T Bricktown Ballpark after a merger between Old AT&T and SBC. It is home to the Oklahoma City Red Hawks and is affiliated to the Texas Rangers Major league basket ball team. It has a capacity of 13,066 seats.
The stadium is the frequent venue for the Big 12 Baseball Tournament. This event was first hosted by All Sports Stadium in the year 1997. Since the year 1998, the event was hosted by Bricktown with an exception of the years 2002 and 2004.
